Just a sneak peak at some of our family photos we had taken last weekend! Sonja did a great job - if you are looking for a photographer in Philly, I recommend her!

Sunday night before Thanksgiving.
Well, I've gone and done the one thing that I never said I would do. I put up my Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. I know, I know - I'm sure most people see this as "breaking the rules", but this year things are different. I guess it seems right to put it up a week early since we will be spending the week before Christmas in GA. Right? Plus, the inlaws are coming up for Thanksgiving and I want things to be all pretty for them. So, the tree is up (I've already had one lady knock on the front window and tell me how nice it is).
Today we went up to center city to have some family pictures taken. I'm anxious to see how they turn out. She said I should have them sometime this week! Plus, I went to the grocery store and got grocery shopping finished up for the week (including Thanksgiving dinner shopping). This is the first year that Brett and I are taking care of the whole meal. Even though it's just going to be us three and Brett's parents, I want to make it real nice. I think we have a gerat menu planned!
Tonight I folded and put up several loads of laundry, made some chocolate chex mix, packed lunches for tomorrow, and caught up on several episodes of Desperate Housewives. (I do have to say - I'm not totally impressed with the storylines they have right now...but they added Brian Austin Green to the cast and I love him.) Anyways, makes me feel good that I accomplished so much today/tonight.
Brett has been studying all weekend. He has an exam tomorrow morning and then a holiday break until next Monday! I know he is ready for some time to relax. The past couple of weeks have been slammed with studying. This week we will be able to have some fun family time.
Ok, it's almost midnight. Time for sleep. Morning is going to come way too early!

Starting a blog.
Ok, so a couple of my friends up in Philly suggested that I start a blog. Not really sure exactly what I am suppose to write about, but I'm gonna give it a shot. It will be nice to share our life in Philadelphia and have all our family and friends follow along. Our lives are pretty busy, so I will try and blog a couple times a week, maybe more maybe less. I'll just have to see how it goes. One day at a time, right? Enjoy!
